About Our School
Located at the corner of Bowman & Quinby Street in Wooster, Ohio Cornerstone Elementary was established in 1994. As one of the largest and most prominent buildings in Wooster it is easy to see that education is a priority within our community.
Education of students from K-12 has been taking place on this city block since 1869. Rebuilt in 1923 as Wooster High School and then renovated and repurposed as a K-6 building and then in 2012 became Wooster's largest PK-4 elementary school.

We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Wooster City Schools called ParentSquare. Starting July 1, 2025 this system will replace our current communication channels - Remind and OneCallNow into one platform.
